*ver.dat - any file with a name which ends in ver.dat is a file
               of thermodynamic data formatted for perplex. the
               letters in the prefix give some indication of the 
               authors, the numbers give the year of the most recent
               revision. If you find errors in these files I would 
               be grateful if you tell me of them.

    solut.dat- this is an example of a solution model file,
               as with the thermodynamic data files, it is provided
               primarily as an example or template which you can use
               to make your own models. 

These files should be placed in the working directory where
the perplex programs are executed.
